1. What can be mixed with Rapid Rodd?
Rapid Rodd mixes just about everything including paints, drywall mud, mortars, epoxies, adhesives and concrete. Rapid Rodd even mixes dry materials such as potting soil.
2. Is Rapid Rodd available in different sizes?
Rapid Rodd comes in multiple sizes:
The Mini Mixer for one quart to 1 gallon
The Midi Mixer for 1 to 2 gallon
The Heavy Duty Mixer for tough mixes such as concrete
The Commerical Super Duty Mixer for 5 to 55 gallon
3. What size drill is recommended?
The Mini rodd has a 1/4" shaft and works well with any variable
speed drill. The Midi, Heavy Duty and Commerical Super Duty rodds have 5/16" shafts and should be used with a heavy duty,
0-800 rpm drill with an 8 to 12 amp motor.
4. What is the best way to use my Rapid Rodd?
Insert the Rapid Rodd to the bottom of the container and start with a
slow speed. Gradually increase speed until optimum mixing occurs. Most
materials are thoroughly blended within 5 seconds. For materials such as
concrete mix, thinset or grouts, fill the mixing container only half full.
5. Is the Rapid Rodd easy to clean?
YES! The stainless steel Rapid Rodd can be cleaned hands free by
immersing it in water or other cleaning media for a few seconds. Or, simply
wipe with a paper towel or a cloth rag.
6. Is Rapid Rodd safe to use?
Rapid Rodd has no sharp edges but the precautions on the packaging such
as the use of safety glasses should be followed.
7. How does Rapid Rodd compare to other mixers and blenders?
We believe the patented Rapid Rodd outperforms ALL other mixers. Rapid
Rodd blends faster and more thoroughly than any other mixer we've tested.
Rapid Rodd cleans the bottom and sides of the mixing container and mixes in
both forward and reverse directions.
