Bear was born in a small New England town and displayed an exceptional mechanical ability as a child. At the young age of seven, he could disassemble and reassemble a bicycle. A year later he began experimenting with modifying bicycles and tricycles for different applications, using parts found in the local dump.

As a child, he constantly displayed a quest to design modifications to all the childhood contraptions the other kids had. He designed a shoulder harness for a wooden push cart, years before they were applied to automobiles, and even modified a tricycle in the early 60's that later became a popular toy still sold today. Although he was never credited for those designs, he never quit inventing.

In later years, he sought knowledge in many different fields, including construction, and combined the mechanical abilities with construction knowledge to design better tools. One of these inventions was designed out of a necessity for a more versatile, thorough and effective mixing tool. Combining ease of use and simple cleaning, with versatility and effectiveness, Rapid Rodd was born.

With more than thirty-five years experience in mechanics and all categories of construction, you can only expect more great things to come from this man.
