As the RAPID RODD™ rotates rapidly, a vortex is created. The red arrows show the direction of the RAPID RODD™ rotation. The blue arrows show the initial, instant movement of the material climbing up the sides of the container as it swirls. The green arrows show gravity taking over and returning the material to be mixed again.

The friction from the material passing around the bent shaft of the RAPID RODD™ design causes the contents of the container to be pushed and pulled at the same time. This is occurring at so many locations inside the container that the smallest particles are sent to several different corners of their "Universe" to mingle with others many times over in just a few revolutions of the rodd. This is a major agitation of the molecules resulting in a forced blending of compatible fluids, chemicals, abrasives, adhesives, media and aggregates.
